Introduction:

Wet ball mill is an advanced grinding equipment, compared with the traditional ball mill, its comprehensive utilization value is higher, and can deal with iron ore, copper ore, nonferrous metal and black metal, etc. It is the popular equipment for grinding and has the advantages of reasonable structure, simple operation, stable operation, which is highly recognized by customers. Here is the detail of the equipment:


Structure:

1、Shell: the shell is made of steel plate and composed of two manholes with manholes frame. The two ends of the shell are all machined. The drilled holes on the shell is used to fix the lining plate.

2、End cover and trunnion: the end cover of inlet and outlet of the mill is designed and manufactured by casting, which is connected with the tube by bolts. The inlet and outlet end covers are designed with complete supporting trunnions. The trunnion of the inlet end cover are designed with fixed support, while trunnion of the outlet end cover are designed with floating support.

3、Main bearing: the bearing is installed on the trunnion of the end cover of the mill, and is maintained in the installation position through the pressure ring. The bearing seat is welded with carbon steel.

4、Base: the bearing house, gear box and drive motor are installed on the base of wet ball mill. The base is equipped with adjustment bolts for easy adjustment.

5、Feeding system: the feeding system is composed of an inlet chute lined with wear-resistant materials and a bearing seat and base for supporting its weight.


Working principle

The motor drives the body to rotate through deceleration device. The crushed ore and steel ball during rotation inside the tube are brought to a certain height caused by friction force and centrifugal force through the lining plate, due to the effect of gravity. The ore is gradually crushed under the impact and grinding effect. The achieved grinding particles is discharged out of the tube through discharging part, and the discharged mineral is graded into qualified products in the spiral classifier, and then the coarse stone is returned to the ball mill for grinding through the combined feeder. The feeder feeds the material continuously and uniformly, the ore enters the ball mill continuously and uniformly through the combined feeder, finally the grinding materials are discharged continuously. Wet ball mill is the grinding equipment which can work 24 hours a day continuously.


Application:

Wet ball mill is the key equipment for grinding materials after they are crushed. It is widely used in cement, silicate products, new building materials, refractory materials, chemical fertilizers, ferrous and nonferrous metal beneficiation, glass ceramics and other industries. It is used for wet grinding of various ores and other grindable materials.
